다시 한번(출 34:1-10)

인생의 실패한 위치에서 다시 한번 기회를 가지질 수 있다면 그것은 은혜입니다. 삶을 살다 보면 그만 쉬고 싶을 때가 있습니다. 더욱이 실패와 지속되는 문제는 우리에게 있는 기회를 포기하도록 만듭니다. 때로는 은혜의 감격을 잊어버리고 모든 것을 던져 버리고 싶을 때도 있습니다. 관계가 깨어지면 더욱 그렇습니다. 하나님께서 계명을 새겨주신 돌 판을 분노 가운데 던져서 깨뜨려 버린 모세의 모습은 오늘날 우리의 모습을 그대로 암시하고 있습니다. 하나님께서 주신 소중한 은혜와 은사, 소중한 관계들을 쉽게 던져서 깨버리는 일들을 스스로 할 때가 있습니다. 하나님께서는 그런 모세를 부르셔서 다시 한번 기회를 주셨습니다. 하나님의 계명을 지키고 살도록 다시 돌 판에 계명을 새겨 주셨습니다. 하나님께서는 거룩 하십니다. 그렇기 때문에 죄와 절대 타협하시지 않습니다.하지만 우리가 하나님의 거룩함에 나아 가도록 오래 참으십니다. 회개하게 하시고,다시 기회를 주십니다. 죄로 병들어 버린 인간을 버리지 아니하시고 다시 회복 시키시고자 자신의 아들을 제물로 내어 주시며 다시 한번 우리에게 기회를 주고 계십니다. 2008년도에 많이 실패하셨습니까? 그래도 하나님의 은혜가운데 잘 살았습니다. 2009년도에 하나님께서 새로운 기회를 주고 계십니다. 힘을 냅시다. It is graceful to receive a second chance to live a life when one has already failed once. There are times when we want to pause for a moment and take a break. Perpetuating problems and failures discourage us when taking a chance. Sometimes we feel like throwing everything away forgetting God’s grace. This kind of behavior is more pronounced when a relationship is broken. Moses who threw and broke the stone of testaments out of fury represents who we are in modern days. We sometimes carelessly throw out and break God’s good work, grace, and precious relationships. However, God called Moses once again and gave him a second chance. God wrote him the testament on a stone so Moses could live up to God’s words. God is holy and divine. So he does not negotiate with sins. However he is very patient. He awaits us to repent of our sins gives us a second chance. God does remember the mankind who is sickened by sins. So he sent us his Son to save us, to give us a second chance. Have you failed in 2008? But you still lived well in God’s grace. God’s giving us a second chance in 2009. Cheer up!
