세상에서도 인정받아야 합니다

지난 2주 동안 한국을 방문 하면서 많은 사람들과 많은 대화를 나누었습니다. 여러 어려운 상황 가운데에서도 소망을 놓지 않고 살아 가려는 모습에서 감동을 받았습니다. 하지만 안타까운 모습들이 있었습니다. 그것은 많은 사람들에게 기독교가, 교회가 더 이상 희망이 되지 못하고 있는 현실 입니다. 너희가 이방인중에서 행실을 선하게 가져 너희를 악행 한다고 비방하는 자들로 하여금 너희 선한 일을 보고 오시는 날에 하나님께 영광을 돌리게 하려 함이라. (벧전2:11-12) 한국 교회는 많은 성장을 이루었습니다. 크고 좋은 새 건물들에, 좋은 장비들과 계획들이 가득합니다. 하지만 세상을 향한 사랑의 배려가 말라가는 듯한 모습들은 많습니다. 복음의 효과는 그리스도인이 세상에서 인정을 받아야 강하게 나타납니다. 하나님을 찬미하며 또 온 백성에게 칭송을 받으니 주께서 구원받는 사람을 날마다 더하게 하시니라(사도행전 2:47) 그리스도인은 세상에서도 인정 받아야 합니다. 어떻게 인정 받을 수 있을까요? 다니엘과 그의 친구들이 바벨론에 포로로 잡혀 갔을 때, 환관장은 그들의 이름을 바꾸어 버렸습니다. 다니엘은 이방인 환관장에게 자신의 신앙을 강조하며 간청하게 됩니다. 하나님께서 그런 환관장의 마음을 바꾸어 다니엘과 친구들에게 은혜와 긍휼을 베풀게 하셨습니다. 다니엘은 뜻을 정하여 왕의 음식과 그가 마시는 포도주로 자기를 더럽히지 아니하리라 하고 자기를 더럽히지 아니하도록 환관장에게 구하니 하나님이 다니엘로 하여금 환관장에게 은혜와 긍휼을 얻게 하신지라 (다니엘1:8,9) 하나님께서 다니엘과 친구들을 우상 숭배한 왕의 진미를 먹은 다른 소년들보다 더 윤기 흐르는 얼굴로 만들어 주셨습니다. 열흘 후에 그들의 얼굴이 더욱 아름답고 살이 더욱 윤택하여 왕의 음식을 먹는 다른 소년들보다 더 좋아 보인지라 (다니엘1:15) 우리 예수님께서도 십자가 위에서 돌아 가신 후에 백부장과 병사들의 입으로 하나님의 아들이심을 인정 받으셨습니다. 백부장과 및 함께 예수를 지키던 자들이 지진과 그 일어난 일들을 보고 심히 두려워하여 이르되 이는 진실로 하나님의 아들이었도다 하더라 (마태복음 27:54) 하나님께서 지진을 일으키셨습니다. 성소의 휘장을 나누셨습니다. 우리가 하나님의 법을 지키며 인내 할 때, 사랑하고 헌신 할 때, 하나님께서 우리가 세상에서 인정 받도록 해 주시는 분이십니다. For the past 2 weeks I shared many conversations with many people. I was deeply touched by the sight of not letting down hopes in lives at many difficult situations. But there were also sad figures. It is fact that Christianity, church is not being the hope to people. Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation. (Peter 2:11-12) Church in Korea has accomplished much growth. With large and good buildings, and it is full of good equipments and plans. However there are many figures of church drying out of loving care towards world. Effectiveness of Gospel appears strong when Christians get accepted to the world. praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. (Acts: 2:47) Christians must get accepted in the world as well. How can we get accepted? When Daniel and his friends were taken to Babylon, chief eunuch changed their names. Daniel emphasizes his faith to foreign chief eunuch and gives earnest request. But Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself with the king's food, or with the wine that he drank. Therefore he asked the chief of the eunuchs to allow him not to defile himself. (Daniel 1:8, 9) God made Daniel and his friends flow of shininess in their face more than any other youths who ate same food that idol worshipping king ate. At the end of ten days it was seen that they were better in appearance and fatter in flesh than all the youths who ate the king's food. After our Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross centurion and soldiers approved Jesus Christ as the son of God with their mouth. When the centurion and those who were with him, keeping watch over Jesus, saw the earthquake and what took place, they were filled with awe and said, “Truly this was the Son of God!” (Matthew 27:54) God raised up the earthquake. God Divided curtains in the sanctuary. When we follow God’s decree and have patience, love and devote, God makes us get accepted to the world.
