감사가 만드는 더 큰 감사(누가복음 17:11-19)

추수 감사절에 하나님께 감사 할 수 있는 사람이 있고 그렇지 못한 사람들이 있습니다. 태양을 만드시고, 비를 내리시는 분이 하나님이심을 믿는 사람들은 받드시 하나님께 감사 할 수 밖에 없습니다. 그런데 그것을 알면서도 감사치 않는 자들도 있습니다. 하나님을 알되 하나님으로 영화롭게도 아니하며 감사치도 아니하고 오히려 그 생각이 허망하여지며 미련한 마음이 어두워졌나니(로마서 1:21) 예수님께서 10명의 문둥병을 고쳐주셨지만 오직 사마리아인 1명만 감사를 드렸습니다. 죽음의 문둥병을 고침 받았습니다. 그러나 9명은 문둥병 때의 마음을 버렸습니다. 문둥병을 고침 받은 사마리아인은 엎드리어 감사했습니다. 그리고 예수님으로 부터 영생을 선물로 받았습니다. 감사는 더 큰 감사를 만듭니다. 이는 모든 것이 너희를 위함이니 많은 사람의 감사로 말미암아 은혜가 더하여 넘쳐서 하나님께 영광을 돌리게 하려 함이라 (고린도 후서 4:15) 하나님께서 지으신 모든 것이 선하매 감사함으로 받으면 버릴 것이 없나니(디모데후서4:4) (Luck 17:11-19) Some people are able to give thanks to God on Thanksgiving’s day and some are not. It is only sensible to give thanks to God since he made the Sun and gave the rain. However, there are some people who choose not to give thanks even knowing that fact. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. (Romans 1:12) Jesus cured ten lepers but only one of them, a Samaritan, appreciated the work. Saved from the deadly leprosy, nine lepers were unable to appreciate the miracle. A Samaritan laid on the ground and thanked Jesus. And he received even greater gift from Jesus- eternal life. Gratitude lead to even greater gratitude. All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.( 2 Corinthians 4:15) For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, ( 1Timothy 4:4)
