회개는 은혜의 도구이며 축복입니다

바울이 고린도 교회를 방문 했을 때, 죄악 된 모습 속에서 가슴이 너무 아팠습니다. When Paul visited Corinthian Church, it was heart-breaking to see the spoiled. 이 후 바울은 고린도 교회 성도들에게 호된 책망의 편지를 보낸 후에 잠시 후회 하게 됩니다. 이유는 바울의 편지는 성도들에게 상처를 줄 수 있었기 때문입니다. Then he sent out a letter to Corinthian church members to discipline and regretted. It is because the letter can hurt church member’s feeling. 편지를 받고 고린도 교회 성도들이 회개하였다는 소식에 기뻐하게 됩니다. He was pleased to hear that Corinthian church members repented their deed when they received the letter. 1. 근심은 회개의 도구 입니다 1. Worries are the tool of repentance. 근심은 세상 근심과 하나님 뜻대로 하는 근심이 있습니다. Worries can be split into two different things, one being personal worries and the other being Godly worries. 세상 근심은 뼈를 마르게 합니다. 그리고 사망에 이르게 합니다 (17:22), 하지만 하나님의 뜻대로 하는 근심은 죄에 무감각한 자들에게 회개를 이루도록 해줍니다 (7:10,11) Worries make you dry as a bone and it leads to the death(17:22) But worries that is closely follow God’s will can make people repent. (7:10,11) 2. 회개는 은혜의 도구 입니다 2. repentance is a tool of grace. 사울은 자신의 죄에 대해 후회 했지만 회개는 없었습니다. 하지만 다윗은 회개를 통해 하나님의 은혜를 입었습니다. Saul regretted what he has done but there was not repentance. However, David was blessed with God’s grace through repentance 가롯 유다는 후회하며 자살 했지만, 베드로는 회개하여 위대한 사도가 되었습니다. Judas committed suicide regretting, Peter repented and became an apostle. 하나님의 뜻은 절망 가운데 파멸 되기를 원하시지 않습니다. 그 절망 가운데 회개하기를 원하십니다. God’s plan was not to put them in vain and end in a complete destruction. He wants us to repent in the midst of worries. 회개가 없는 자리에는 후회만 가득합니다. There is a plenty of regrets in the place of repentance. 사람들은 하나님의 은혜를 이야기 하지만 정작 은혜를 받기 위해 자신을 바꾸는 회개에는 관심이 없습니다. People talk about grace of God but they are usually not interested in repentance that can change themselves. 그러므로 내가 스스로 거두어들이고 티끌과 재 가운데에서 회개하나이다 (욥:42:6) Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes.” (Job 42:6) 회개 할 수 있는 기회는 바로 은혜와 축복의 기회 입니다. A chance to repent leads to grace and blessing. 욥이 그의 친구들을 위하여 기도할 때 여호와께서 욥의 곤경을 돌이키시고 여호와께서 욥에게 이전 모든 소유보다 갑절이나 주신지라(욥42:10) After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before. (Job 42:10)
