말씀을 행함으로 나타나는 능력.

야고보는 듣는 믿음에서 실천하는 신앙으로 나아가라고 전하고 있습니다. 즉 믿음은 내면에 가두는 것이 아니라 밖으로 표출 하는 것입니다. 믿음을 단지 구원을 주는 지식으로만 받아들이기 때문에 신앙으로 까지 나아가지 못합니다. 믿음은 행위를 통해서 하나님의 은혜를 체험하게 되는 것입니다. 아브라함의 믿음, 기생 라합의 믿음 그리고 베드로의 믿음은 모두 행위를 통해서 하나님의 역사를 이루었습니다. 믿음 때문에 우리는 주님 안에서 기뻐하며 우리 연약함은 그분의 은혜를 전시하는 장이 된다. -찰스 스펄전- 우리는 신앙 안에서 인생을 안전하게 건축하고자 합니다. 그렇게 되기 위해서 말씀을 듣고 실천해 나가야 합니다.
